CSF final.

Hey there guys, today, I'm posting about my final for my Composting Scene Finishing (CSF) class. Goal is to seamlessly integrate 3d cg elements into a live action video shot. Programs used: Syntheyes 2008 for tracking the videos, Maya 2009 to render and light the CG elements separately. Nuke for integrating the render layers. Apple Color to color Grade the final nuke renders to a Color Scheme. I also animated the Iron Man's arm and the Visor. All CG elements and back plate videos provided by Full Sail University. critiques are welcomed. enjoy.

Arm_test 2

hey guys. I did a quick animation with the arm of Norman. Replicating Drew Winey's Step animation process. Trying to understand how to overlap a little and easing in and out better. It all stepped mode still. On 2s and 1s. Done in Maya 2011 student version.

More critiques would be nice. Is currently working on a working website. Have fun guys. I have 2 more animation test I did really quick that I want to upload. I'm rendering the werewolf run cycle as much as I can. Enjoy and have a great Day.

Mind Map

So I an in my animation pre-production month. (ANP), I just, kinda discovered mind-mapping. and it seems fun. I think I might do this more with my projects. So far, it helped me discover some shot ideas, location ideas, different scenarios and stuff. heres one of them.

woooosh!

This is an animation I did for my APR class the second time. My hardrive was broken, so the first one is lost and gone forever. Its a baseball player pitching. Finished it along side my other animation I been doing lately. Here it is. Done in Maya 2009.

Had a couple of problems with this one, but it was fun while Animating this.

Wah version2.

Another version of an earlier animation test. This one has a back foot help supporting the weight from the jump. The hands waver in the air like he's trying to catch something help to keep from falling.

I ran into tons of problem with this one. Mostly arc problems, and realizing I should of animated to a camera instead of just animating before hand.

I did something different here. I added Squash and stretch to his face in a few frames where i thought was needed. I used the create motion path tool to help with my arcs, most of the keys are done in spline and the feet were done in clamp.

WAH!!! WIP

This is what I worked on the last few days. Going to have another version up soon.
I pre-pro the main keys with some break downs. I threw my this peice into Spline and the feet on Clamp to keep it from going/over-shooting through the floor. Tried to go for the Snappy look, and extended the the down post and the eye popping pose a little longer for you to register better. Any critiques is welcolmed, just shoot me an email. Animated using Maya 2011.
